Private investigators
Completion requirements

Provinces treat basic investigator training (BIT) differently. In some provinces, basic investigator training is a 40 to 50 hour course , but basic security training is not required. In other provinces, basic investigator training is an 8 to 10 hour specialization after basic security training. CA🍁SP offers these versions, plus an advanced investigator certificate program.
CA🍁SP is focused on providing high quality training and industry information so that private investigators can better function in their role, can expand their knowledge and skills, and to keep current with industry best-practices.
